Our Team
The PLP (Pakistan Literacy Project) has an amazing team of full-time staff that diligently endeavor to improve education sustainability. Our highly-dedicated teams located in Lahore and Bahawalpur work together to create an organization that positively effects the lives of underprivileged children. A significant percentage of our program teams are locals. For this reason, they understand the challenges that each area holds and are striving to provide ample number of libraries to Public Schools.
A single smile from a deserving child is well-worth the tireless effort we all put into. From the ground up, dedicated and passionate PLP team members, work closely with local governments, boards of education, local communities, teachers, students, volunteers, and donors with comprehensive transparency and a great deal of coordinated effort.
At PLP the Governance /decision making and formal selection of Schools for model libraries, book selection and adaptation has been led by the Project Steering Committee (PSC) established by SED, Punjab and Books Adaptation Review committee by SELD in Sindh.
