Capacity building Workshop on Managing Active Libraries across Punjab

A series of Capacity Building Workshops were conducted in different Public and private organization throughout Punjab. The workshop focused on training teachers about reading habits and how they can be enhanced among children through different reading activities. The workshop also covered areas on book leveling, book care and Action plan which are an important part of managing active libraries and making them sustainable.

An Interactive workshop was conducted in the Children Library Complex, Lahore. Private school teachers, CLC staff and a group of BS students along with their professor from NUML, Lahore participated in the workshop.

Establishment of Libraries

PLP has established child-friendly Library rooms in 24 primary schools (12 in Bahawalpur and 12 in Lahore) and the establishment of classroom library corners in 10 more schools (05 in Bahawalpur and 05 in Lahore).
